Its the new year and with that comes typically a change in our diet. After the holiday sweets and treats its always a good feeling to cleanse and jump start the new year with healthier eating habits! This recipe is perfect for that all while still craving a burger! This is one of our go to recipes in the summer as well, perfect for grilling out without feeling weighed down!
As a side we roast Brussel sprouts or broccoli, or if we are feeling sassy some waffle fries! Some of our favorite toppings are arugula, red onion, mayo, mustard, pickle, cheese (the spreadable laughing cow is great!) and we pile this all on a pretzel bun! If you are watching those carbs, go bunless or choose a lettuce wrap! The different variations to styling your burger are endless and are completely up to you and your taste buds!
